To improve our lymphatic health we need to drink plenty of water. What “plenty” means depends on a range of factors, including our size, the temperature and how active we are. However, as a guide, the Department of Health recommends that we should drink about 1.2 litres of fluid every day. This works out to be about six 200ml or eight 150ml glasses.
Lukewarm, filtered water with a slice of fresh lemon first thing in the morning helps kick start our digestion process for the day, but it also helps our bodies to maintain an alkaline state, which lymph needs in order to flow.
